Dementia Forward are delighted to be an official Charity Partner of the Run For All Yorkshire Marathon for 2026 and 2027. This year, the marathon is set to take place on Sunday the 18^th of October 2026 and would love for you to take part and join the Dementia Forward Team.

There are two ways to sign up in support of Dementia Forward;

Secure your charity place for the Yorkshire Marathon or the Yorkshire 10 Mile through Dementia Forward. There is a registration fee which includes a Dementia Forward running top and the support of our Community Team who can help with your fundraising and enquiries leading up to the event. Upon registration you pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship, please ensure you check this before signing up.

If you have already secured your place for the Yorkshire Marathon or the Yorkshire 10 Mile but would like to raise vital funds for Dementia Forward, we would be delighted to hear from you! We will be able to support with your fundraising. Get in touch using the details below.

Dementia Forward is the leading dementia charity for North Yorkshire and York and currently support over 9,500 people across the county. Our Helpline, local dementia support advisors, wellbeing services, specialist young onset support and dementia education programmes ensure that we can provide a holistic approach to dementia support.

If running a marathon isn’t your thing, but you would still like to be involved in the joyous occasion, you can sign up to volunteer on the day! Dementia Forward will have a presence in the Charity Village and need people to man the cheer points throughout the route. Please get in touch if you’re interested.
