Dementia Forward with Able Training

Dementia Forward is delighted to be working in partnership with Able Training, a company that shares our ethos and passion for improving lives and striving for informed, compassionate care for all. Over recent years, we have developed our own training packages, based on our first-hand experience supporting people living with dementia and their carers. By collaborating with Able Training, we are taking this training to the next level—combining our specialist knowledge with their expertise in professional training delivery. Together, we can offer accredited courses tailored for businesses and the care sector, ranging from basic dementia awareness to advanced training. 

As part of this, we are proud to be launching the UK’s first comprehensive training package dedicated to Young Onset Dementia. This course draws on over a decade of experience supporting younger people with dementia and addresses a critical gap in current training provision.

We look forward to further developing this suite of dementia training courses and delivering them in accessible and impactful ways, always aiming for the best possible care and support for all people affected by dementia.

Dementia Awareness
Our Dementia Awareness Course provides a comprehensive introduction to dementia, aiming to increase understanding and confidence when supporting individuals living with dementia. This course is suitable for CPD for professionals in any industry, including customer-facing roles, HR, management, and frontline staff. It can be upgraded to a certified Level 2 course, with the completion of an online assessment at the end of the course.
