Education for families and support networks
At Dementia Forward we are committed to providing people living with dementia and their support networks with timely and pertinent information. As part of this, we believe that everyone should have an opportunity to increase their dementia awareness and to ask the questions that matter to them.
Fiona Andrews, Dementia Forward’s Community Education Coordinator, runs online education sessions quarterly, often with the support and expert clinical knowledge of Dr Venkatesh Muthukrishnan, Consultant Psychiatrist. Community education
If you are a community group looking to organise an awareness session, please email info@dementiaforward.org.uk or call 01765 601224. We can run these online or in-person and can tailor them to your audience. While we do not charge a set fee for these sessions, donations to support our work are welcomed.
