George Armitage House

Our new Dementia Hub

George Armitage House is a former Methodist Chapel and has been converted into a dementia-friendly hub thanks to a generous donation from the George Armitage Trust. We are currently running a pilot programme of wellbeing activities for people living with dementia, their carers and families. The services we currently offer include:

  • Singing
  • Dementia Support Appointments
  • Chiropody and other treatments
  • Day care from Over the Rainbow Care : Visit our website

If you would like to find out more or pop in and see us, you are always welcome. We are open Monday to Friday, 9am ‘til 4pm.

We also offer community events, which are open to anyone. If you would like to know more about what is on offer, please get in touch, or come along to one of our coffee mornings: every Friday 10am-12pm at George Armitage House, Burton Leonard, HG3 3SD.
